หัวขับไฟฟ้า (Electric Actuator Valve) คือ ใช้มอเตอร์ควบคุมการทำงานด้วยไฟฟ้าทั้งขาไปและขากลับ โดยใช้ไฟฟ้ากระแสตรง และไฟฟ้ากระแสสลับ ซึ่ง Electric Actuator Valve มีหน้าที่ในการขับเคลื่อนวาล์วที่มีขนาดใหญ่ หรือต้องการการทำงานเปิดปิดวาล์วที่เป็นอัตโนมัติ หรือตามช่วงเวลา, มีความถี่ในการเปิดปิด, ต้องการความรวดเร็ว/ความแม่นยำในการเปิดปิดตามตำแหน่งที่กำหนดไว้ หรือวาล์วอยู่ในที่ที่เข้าถึงได้ลำบาก หรือเสี่ยงอันตรายในการเข้าถึงพื้นที่ติดตั้งวาล์ว

ข้อดีของ หัวขับไฟฟ้า (Electric Actuator Valve) เหมาะกับวาล์วที่มีรอบการทำงานที่มาก และไม่ก่อให้เกิดเสียงรบกวนเหมือนหัวขับประเภทอื่น อีกทั้งยังมีความแม่นยำสูง สามารถใส่คำสั่งต่างๆได้และมีหน้าจอแสดงผลบอกถึงสถานะของวาล์ว

Electric Actuator Valve แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภทคือ

  1. Quarter-turn electric actuator หัวขับไฟฟ้าแบบควอเตอร์เทิร์น
  2. Multi-tern electric actuator หัวขับไฟฟ้าแบบมัลติเทิร์น
