Hydrocyclone Sand Separator water filter in cooling tower : A hydrocyclone sand separator is a type of water filter that can be used in a cooling tower system to remove sand and other sediment particles from the circulating water. The hydrocyclone sand separator works by using centrifugal force to separate the sand and other sediment particles from the water.

The hydrocyclone sand separator consists of a cylindrical body and a conical section that is pointed in the direction of the water flow. As the water enters the hydrocyclone, it is spun in a circular motion, creating a high-velocity vortex. The centrifugal force generated by this spinning motion causes the sand and other sediment particles to be separated from the water and to be forced to the walls of the hydrocyclone.

Once the sediment particles reach the walls of the hydrocyclone, they drop to the bottom of the unit, where they are collected and removed. The clean water then exits the hydrocyclone and continues on to the cooling tower.
